[ RYAN'S GULCH ] Permissions.
For those who don't know, Charles is a pretty darn powerful telepath. This permission post is preemptively asking about reading minds. Any other of Charles' skills will be asked about prior to use (ie: messing with the senses, changing up perception, mind control). Feel free to use the form below or wing it.

⇨ Can he read their mind? ; This is a big maybe in terms of success.
⇨ Will he experience any difficulty/resistance doing so? ; Yes. WORST gives off a magnetic field that probably makes anything more than projecting one's thoughts at her and reading surface thoughts difficult to achieve. See Additional notes. I need to paragraph at you.
⇨ Topics that are not okay to discuss? ; None.
⇨ Superpowers/non-human/etc? ; Human, scientifically engineered esper. Misaka WORST's power is controlling electricity.
⇨ Additional notes ; Misaka WORST is one of over 20,000 clones of one of the most powerful espers in the Toaru-verse, Misaka Mikoto. Mikoto is the third ranked Level Five. WORST is a Level Four which is still somewhat elite. Here is where things get tricky. There are roughly 10,000 Misaka clones still around, and they are all neurally linked to a giant telepathic network via electromagnetic brain waves. The Misaka Network has its own collective memory and an overall will of its own. While access to this in the game setting is limited for obvious reasons, Misaka WORST technically has access to it at all times. WORST is also, essentially, a collection of all the negative emotions within that network. I am perfectly okay with any sensing of this Network or attempts to read anything, but there's probably some heavy security built into it by the scientists who constructed the Network. Plus, um, while I'm not sure exactly how strong WORST's defenses personally would be, one of the other Level Fives is a ridiculously powerful telepath known for a ton of mind control and memory replacement and she can't get past Mikoto's magnetic field. WORST's overall specs are high enough that telepaths might also have the same types of trouble.

⇨ Can he read their mind? ; Yeah, if he's super-good.
⇨ Will he experience any difficulty/resistance doing so? ; Because Arthur's mind is locked down like Fort Knox in terms of subconscious security, I figure that will add a bit of resistance on the telepathic area. So maybe just surface thoughts? idk, I'm definitely up for more discussion, it'd be cool to have someone poking around Arthur's brain.

⇨ Will he experience any difficulty/resistance doing so? ; i i think so. i don't think it's too much of a stretch to say that SHIELD agents get some training in mental fortitude. also, there's been brainwashing/brain tampering in her past, so make of that what you will? idk, feel free to pm me to sort stuff out!

⇨ Will he experience any difficulty/resistance doing so? ; I don't think Crane has any particular defenses in place--he's very good at keeping his thoughts from outwardly showing much of the time, but lets all manner of stuff run free and unrepressed inside.

⇨ Additional notes ; Um, just that Crane's mind is a damn scary place? The guy's an emotional predator and has an addiction to terrifying people. While he is capable of actual sympathy, his emotional responses tend to be pretty whacked out--most of the time listening to someone's troubles tends to fill him with glee. He's also very perceptive, so if Charles kind of recoils from any of that, chances are he's going to notice something's up.

⇨ Superpowers/non-human/etc? ; Over-powered Magical Shounen-teenager is magical and overpowered. But I don't think much would come from it mentally aside from picking up he's got a weird mental-link thing with his dog and bird... which are in essence weapons in animal form, so aside what they get from Yamamoto they don't really have too much going on themselves.
⇨ Additional notes ; There's kind of a discrepancy between Yamamoto's thoughts and feelings and what he actually lets on to others, so he can still be smiling and laughing while inwardly freaking out about stuff... and he also bottles things up horridly.

⇨ Will he experience any difficulty/resistance doing so? ; Selene has none at all so Charles can probe deep as he wants.
⇨ Topics that are not okay to discuss? ; Publicly, she rather not have Charles discuss about her non-human status and who she really was back in her place. Privately, anything is pretty much a go.
⇨ Superpowers/non-human/etc? ; Selene is non-human. A living construction of magic and stars. She has powers but they are useless in Rapture over-all and she knows this. Also is person from upper class society, princess, and not as cheerful as she makes people believe.
⇨ Additional notes ; Selene is, most of the time, trying to be what you see is what you get but there will be moments her thoughts and actions differ wildly from each other. Mostly in situations where she should be stressed and angry and instead she's acting like a big old Care Bear.
