Charles felt Erik's chest rise and fall. "I'm glad." His tone was content and his voice was soft. He was very pleased in the change in Erik. He had noticed a difference in the sleeping patterns compared to when they had first met. Charles moved his free hand over Erik's, his thumb brushing over it for a moment. His eyes fell closed and he breathed out a long sigh against the back of Charles' neck. In all honesty, Erik was surprised he stayed long enough to find Anne. Everything changed after that and became all it is today. "I'm glad that I did."

"Mm, I can only hope," Erik agreed, even if he doubted it would happen. He curled his legs up until they were against Charles' own and sighed in quiet content. Another quick kiss was pressed to the back of the man's neck and Erik murmured one final, "Goodnight."
