There's a long silence on the way up the stairs as Erik's thoughts coil in and around each other. Once he makes it to the bathroom, he carefully sets Charles down on the toilet and turns to draw the bath. He doesn't plan to do more than Charles absolutely needs, he respected the man's privacy when and where he could despite the situation. As the water poured into the basin, Erik sat up, keeping his back to Charles, and sighed.
