For those who don't know, Charles is a pretty darn powerful telepath. If you have questions about any of his abilities, please visit this link to get a bit more of a perspective of it.

Please note that due to the condition of Mayfield, he receives his abilities back in pieces. However, I am looking to receive full permissions so I don't have to seek out permissions every time he receives more of his skills.

Also note that while Charles can go tromping around in minds, he doesn't typically unless necessary.

* Non-human/superpowers: Charles is able to sense other mutants. To a degree, he would be able to tell if someone is not completely human.

⇨ Can he read their mind? ; Sort of!
⇨ Will he experience any difficulty/resistance doing so? ; Haha okay, so Josh is basically super godmoddy in canon, but he deliberately nerfs himself there and is obviously waaaay powered down in Mayfield. In canon, when someone tries to read his mind, they get vague images and memories instead of the full sentences that they normally would and it's heavily implied that Josh is controlling what they see. In short, it's possible to read his mind and communicate through thought; however, he'll be able to tell if someone's in there and they won't be able to see anything he doesn't want them to see. Mind control is flat out impossible.
⇨ Topics that are not okay to discuss? ; Nothing!
⇨ Superpowers/non-human/etc? ; Hahaha yes. A list of his abilities can be found here, but to summarize, he's technically human but he's also 1) dead and 2) the god of a city.
⇨ Additional notes ; One of the possible regains for him are Player Pins, which makes whoever's wearing it immune to mind-reading and grants them very mild telepathy of their own provided they've died at least once, although he won't get this back for a while yet if ever.

Also while he comes off really godmoddy here, Joshua's actually the type to hide the full extent of his powers unless he's forced to use them. So Charles won't really have that much trouble gleaming surface thoughts off him, since he's trying to pass for a teenage boy with some supernatural powers instead of a god.

Oh, Joshua! You, sir, are a creeper. A few moments in there will give Charles the idea to keep out, I think.

I'm thinking once the mutant Spidey-sense comes back, he'll probably get some weird unsure vibes from Joshua, but not really be able to identify other than 'more than just human'.
