↗ Charles is a telepath.
↗ He can read, manipulate, and erase minds and memories.
↗ I simply ask that you let me know the following.
① Is it okay for Charles to read your character's mind; be it now or in the future? Please make any notes!
② What sort of thoughts/memories would be alright to mention?
③ What sort of things are not to be mentioned?
④ Any other notes?
↗ We can also work it out on a case by case basis if you prefer, depending on how things develop.
↗ But I guess I am sort of wanting to know if there is any "NO NEVERS" in the group.
↗ Note that he's can be polite with it, and doesn't use it all the time.
↗ Feel free to tell me to GTFO at any time. :)

②/③ I couldn't really figure out topics that I never ever would want mentioned, so I'm focusing more on how they'd react to topics. For Aerith, talking about her flowers, the church, the kids in the slums, a lot of things are just going to make her happy to talk about. On the other hand anything Shinra-related -- scientists, Turks, human experimentation -- or about her early childhood, or a certain ex-boyfriend, is very likely to make her shut down discussion. It might be by changing the subject, it might be by taking off. She likes to seem "normal" and it takes trust before she's okay with people knowing that she's not. Even then she doesn't know how to handle it very well.
Barret is pretty much the same with Shinra being bad news, and talk about his hometown won't go well. He is extremely short-tempered and will readily escalate to threats of violence and actual violence at the wrong provocation. On the other hand, he's a huge softy for his adopted daughter.
④ Aerith has a bond with the planet Gaia that allows her to speak to it -- and lets her "hear" people as they die. Maybe a ping for Charles? She's a bit like a mutant in her own way, since it's something she inherited from her mother and is now the only living person with the ability.
Also, telepathy will weird out both characters if they realize what's going on, since the only telepathy known about in canon is done by an alien virus that wreaks havoc.
